Who am I?
Hello, my name is Camille and I’m 23 years old. I’ve just finished my master’s degree in communication, journalism and marketing. Passionate about traveling and new experiences, I had the opportunity to study in Canada and more precisely in Quebec for a year. I take every opportunity to discover the surrounding area and visit the rest of the country.
My aim is simple: to travel on a limited budget while finding as many sustainable alternatives as possible for the planet. Although I don’t often have the choice, I avoid air travel as much as possible for stays in Europe and, of course, in France. We’re lucky enough to have hundreds of means of transport in France to get to a destination, so we have to make the most of it!
During my 5 years of higher education, I learned how to write for the web and discovered the marketing aspects of digital. My favorite part of the job is writing for the web, because I really enjoy writing and want to make a living out of it. This blog is proof of that.
To find out a little more, here’s some additional information:
- If I were a color: yellow
- If I were a meal: breakfast (it’s the best meal of the day, isn’t it?)
- If I could teleport, I’d go to: Canada. This country still holds a special place in my heart.
- If I were a book: Il est grand temps de rallumer les étoiles by Virginie Grimaldi (a must-read).
Blog history
This blog opened in 2016, when I was 14 and had lots of ideas in my head. I especially loved writing and sharing; so it was natural that I decided to create it. In 2018, the blog changed radically to become more “professional” and I started to focus on more specific topics such as travel, study abroad and sport.
I’m constantly trying to improve the blog to make it 100% me. By the way, if you’ve read a few of my posts, you’ve probably noticed that I mainly use a personal tone. I prefer to use this tone so that you feel at home on this blog and it feels more like a “family”. The average age of my readers is between 15 and 30.
That’s the end of this little presentation. However, if you’d like to contact me about a collaboration or simply have a question. You can send me an email at hello@cxmillephoto.com or contact me directly on Instagram.
Camille 🙂
